We serve humility education, rooted in 21st-century research and Christian dialogue—
one cup and connection at a time.
A Cup of humiliTea is born from insights gathered during post-graduate research on humility deficits in both Christian communities and broader society. Grounded in research from Christian theology and social science, we explore how low humility contributes to divisive ideologies—politically, socially, and theologically. Our mission is to cultivate a deeper sense of humility—toward God, self, and others—through education, connection, and conversation, one cup of tea at a time.
Cups of humiliTea are research articles, reflections, and resources that you can interact with individually from home. A Pot of humiliTea is a dynamic, community oriented course, and Sips of humiliTea are inspirational thoughts, ideas, or images to give your perspective a quick reset. We frame our interactions using tea to keep hospitality and human connection central to our reflection and discussions, and to remind ourselves that regardless of difference, there is always enough commonality to share a metaphorical cup of tea. We invite you to join us in a movement that prioritizes humility in relationship with God, self, and others. A movement that has the potential to transform those relationships —and, by extension, society as a whole.
